An end-to-end courier platform centered on real-time, point-to-point navigation, live GPS processing, deviation detection, rerouting and sequential delivery-target handover.

Designed around real courier workflows in the Augsburg region and able to consume operational tour data rather than demonstration-only routes.

The system needed to preserve navigation continuity under noisy GPS, stale requests, route deviations and sequential delivery progression while remaining usable on real courier devices.

Product design, route workflow, requirements, acceptance criteria, UX behavior, AI-native implementation orchestration, manual field validation, regression control and release acceptance.

Programming implementation is AI-assisted. Product requirements, functional scope, UX decisions, acceptance criteria, manual testing, regression control, deployment and final release validation remain under direct personal ownership.

Browser → Web Gateway → Smart Routing API / Base Routing API / PHP State API, with OSRM, VROOM and Photon plus persistent SQLite state. Continuous GPS acquisition, accuracy/freshness validation, heading smoothing, map matching, maneuver progress, deviation tracking, ETA, arrival handling and voice guidance.

Operational routes, GPS deviation, rerouting, cross-device behavior and versioned patch/install/verify cycles were manually tested. The delivery workflow went through repeated regression passes before acceptance.

A validated real-time navigation workflow comparable in behavior to driver-oriented courier applications, using a 2D map interface.

Live route demonstration; GPS deviation and reroute demonstration; cross-device/auth flow where applicable; versioned patch/install/verify history; operational route screenshots/video.

OPERATIONAL VALUE

Built for courier reality.

  • Designed for real courier workflows in the Augsburg region rather than demonstration-only routes.
  • Integrated a German courier backend through an OAuth-based session layer and API polling, then normalized operational tours into persistent delivery workflows.
  • Covered the complete path from assignment import to geocoding, optimization, live navigation, completion, history and statistics.
  • No public adoption, time-saving or revenue KPI is claimed because operational figures and deployment details are confidential; the live workflow is available for verification.

SYSTEM / QA DEPTH

Reliability is the product.

  • The 85-file automated suite is split across 70 JavaScript, 8 PHP and 7 Python test files.
  • Two SQLite stores separate route/application state from courier sessions, cookies, tour state and integration events; versioned migrations protect schema evolution.
  • OSRM, VROOM and Photon support road-aware routing, stop ordering, geocoding constraints and district-specific coordinate validation.
  • Stale-result protection, request cancellation, generation guards, partial-route handling and short-lived visual dead-reckoning protect navigation continuity.
  • Security and privacy controls include authenticated sessions, CSRF, secure cookies, throttling, AES-256-GCM TTS secrets and non-persistent raw GPS handling.
